Helen “Jean” Rape, 88, of Harmony passed away peacefully Monday at her home at Under Our Wing in Butler.

Born Nov. 24, 1929, in Harmony, she was the daughter of the late Thelma and Donovan Schatz.

Helen leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Vicki Ierardo; her son-in-law, Larry Ierardo; her grandson, Eric Ierardo; one nephew; and several nieces.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James Rape, who died in 1987; one brother; three sisters; one infant son; and one niece.
