Maureen E. “Maur” Huff
Maureen E. “Maur” Huff, 66, of Butler passed away Tuesday at her home.
She was born Jan. 18, 1952, in Butler, to the late John Hutchison and the late Ruth Miller Stockard Hutchison.
Maureen worked for the Lutheran Service Society as director of Butler, Beaver and Allegheny counties senior centers.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Butler. Maureen was a member of the Mobile Manor Association in Fort Myers, Fla., the Butler Racquetball Club and the Community Action Board.
Maureen liked home decorating. She collected shells at Sanibel Island, Fla. Maureen liked attending activities of family and friends. She enjoyed watching Steelers and Pirates games on television.
Maureen is survived by her husband, James, whom she married July 19, 1977; two stepsons, Joseph J. (Lori) Huff of Butler and Kenneth L. (Michelle) Huff of Butler; three stepgrandchildren, Shawn (Sharon) Huff, Scott Huff and Nicole Huff; two brothers, Richard (Alberta) Stockard of Butler and Kevin (Shelley) Hutchison of Anna Maria Island, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Stockard.
