James R. Marshall
James R. Marshall, 75, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, passed away Tuesday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born Feb. 28, 1943, in Butler, he was the son of the late James T. Marshall and Hazel Lisman Marshall Wilson.
Jim was a truck driver for Brown Trucking.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mars, where he had held several different offices through the years.
He was the oldest living life member and a past president of the Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Department.
He had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen M. Davidson Marshall, whom he married Oct. 31, 1970; two daughters, Lisa (Mark) Adomaitis of Evans City and Kristen (Christopher) Lydon of Butler; his grandchildren, Nathan Adomaitis, Nicholas Lydon, Nicole Adomaitis and Carly Lydon; his stepbrother, Robert J. (Sharon) Marshall; and his stepsister, Cathy Binegar, both of Ohio.
MARSHALL — Friends of James R. Marshall, who died Tuesday, July 17, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church, 420 Beaver St., Mars, with the Rev. Robert Zimmerman, pastor, officiating.Everyone is asked to please meet at the church. Burial with military honors will be at Mars Cemetery in Adams Township.Memorials may be made to the church.
