Albert E. “Buck” Bucklew

Albert E. “Buck” Bucklew, 90, formerly of Zelienople, passed away on Sunday at Quality Life Services in Chicora.

Born Oct. 11, 1927, in York Run, Pa., he was the son of the late Russell Bucklew and Cora Teets Bucklew.

Buck was a member of the Franklin Park Baptist Church. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Buck was an avid car enthusiast. He enjoyed woodworking and sold some of his creations at Peggy's Wicker Shop in Zelienople, which he co-owned with his wife.

Buck is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret “Peggy” Bucklew; his sons, David E. Bucklew of Beaver Falls and Mark A. (Tammy) Bucklew of Bellevue; his granddaughters, Brenda (Luke) Meeder, Valerie (Kurtis) McClymonds and Sarah (Tim) Wilson; and his six great-grandchildren, Bradley, Kevin, Kyle, Landen, Haleigh and James.

In addition to his parents, Buck was preceded in death by three siblings, Russell Bucklew Jr., Ruby Reckard and Edna Morgan; and his daughter-in-law, Linda Bucklew.

BUCKLEW — Friends of Albert E. “Buck” Bucklew, who died Sunday, July 15, 2018, will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon Wednesday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with Pastor Gail Davis officiating.Buck will be laid to rest with military honors at the Grace Church Cemetery.Memorial contributions in Buck's honor may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Processing Center, P.O.
