Larry G. Jones
Larry G. Jones of Houston, Texas, formerly of Butler, passed away on May 27.
He was born on Aug. 21, 1951, in Butler, and was the son of the late Walter H. Jones and Alison P. Jones.
Larry's second hometown unofficially became Houston in the early 1980s when he went there to join friends.
Larry loved animals, especially his dog, Max, whom he found as a stray. After Max passed away, Larry fostered older dogs from a Houston animal shelter.
He is survived by his mother of Butler; his brother, Lance Jones (Mary Ellen Call) of Pittsburgh; his sister, Kristi (Bernie) Caplan of Pittsburgh; four nieces, Moira (Alexander) Fleche of Virginia, Maeve Jones of Philadelphia, and Samantha Cirillo and Alexandra Cirillo, both of Cranberry Township; and one great-niece, Payten.
JONES — No funeral services will be held in Butler for Larry G. Jones, who died Sunday, May 27, 2018.The family asks that memorial donations be made to Omega House Hospice in Houston, Texas.
