Mary Z. Herman
Mary Z. Herman, 92, of Lyndora died Thursday evening at her home.
Born Aug. 26, 1925, in Lyndora, she was a daughter of the late Frank Zelinka and Mary (Gonko) Zelinka.
Mary was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora and the Ladies Guild at St. John's.She was very dedicated to her family and her faith.
She is survived by her two daughters, Chris (Kim) Rensel and Martha (Bob) Cawthon; six grandchildren,Tim Walsh, Dan Walsh, Brian (Brenda) Rensel, Jennifer (Bryan) Flaugh, Lisa (Jim) Shearer and John (Tara) Stehle Jr.; eight great-grandchildren,Austin, Tiffany, Christopher, Madison, Kyle, Sean, Landon and Aven; five step great-grandchildren,Aubrey, Matthew, Connor, Dennis and Danielle; and three great-great-grandchildren,Liam, Helena and Juniper.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Inaddition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Herman, whom she married Sept. 14, 1947, and who died Feb. 13, 1996; her daughter, Rosemarie “Honey” Walsh, who died June 15, 2018; one infant sister; three brothers, John, Frank and Michael Zelinka; one great-grandson, Austyn Rensel; one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Shearer;her son-in-law, Tom Walsh; and Helen K.
HERMAN — Friends of Mary Z. Herman, who died Thursday, July 5, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday atGeibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.Parastas services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Mondayat the funeral home.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora.The Rev.
