Gertrude Burns
Gertrude Burns, 99, of Saxonburg passed away Thursday at her home.
Born Nov. 2, 1918, in Culmerville, Pa., she was the daughter of William David Norris and Mary Norris.
She was a member of Pleasant Unity Presbyterian Church where she volunteered for many church activities.
She enjoyed sewing, jewelry making, hand and machine embroidery, reading and antiquing.
Surviving are her son, Richard (Sherrie) Burns of Saxonburg; three daughters, Betty Lynch of St. Johns, Fla., Ruth DeBlasio of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., and Barbara (Lew) Radonovich of the Villages, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Cathy Washio, Linda Dolan, Lisa Cummings, Lew Radonovich, David Radonovich, Audra Rezak, Morgan Burns and McKenzie Burns; and 12 great-grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew, Patrick, Heather, Elizabeth, Katie, Keri, Joshua, Julia, Cole, Tate and Jordan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wilmer Burns; two brothers, Howard Norris and Charles Norris; one sister, Ethel Knoch; a grandson, David Lynch; and a great-grandson, Joseph Radonovich.
BURNS — Friends of Gertrude Burns, who died Thursday, June 28, 2018, will be received from noon until 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W.
