Former Evans City man pleads to child porn case
A former Evans City man pleaded guilty to a child pornography possession charge in federal court in Pittsburgh Monday, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Scott W. Brady.
Christopher Robert Woods, possessed digital images of children 12 years old and younger engaging in sexual conduct, according to the news release. Woods pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Joy Flowers Conti.
Woods could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison, be ordered to pay a fine of up to $250,000 or some combination of the two. His sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 16.
The crime Woods admitted to occurred between November 2014 and January 2015.
