Glenn S. Davis Jr.

Glenn S. Davis Jr., 66, of Harrisville passed away on Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a tragic car accident. His death has now reunited him with his beloved grandson, Tyler.

He was born May 6, 1952, in Pittsburgh, and was the son of the late Glenn S. Davis Sr. and Ruth (Cumpston) Davis.

Glenn was self-employed in the construction industry, where he loved working alongside his two sons.

He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and his dog, Morgan. Aside from his wife, his grandchildren were the loves of his life and he was so proud of each of them.

Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Mary Lou (Nebel) of Harrisville; six daughters, Dawn (Jeff) Leech of Verona, Christine (Mike) Chismar of East Pittsburgh, Julie (Eric) Lewis of Prospect, Jessica Davis of Harrisville, Jill (Matthew) Pry of West Sunbury, and Jodi (Billy) McNeish of Butler; two sons, Brian (Katrina) Davis of Cheswick, and Scott (Dana) Davis of Verona; 19 grandchildren, Dani, Jeffrey, Stephen and Dalton Leech, Michael Chismar Jr., Corie Davis, Kenny and Cheyenne Anderson, Brandon, Katelyn and Mylie Davis, Riley and Grace Lewis, Alexa Gilson, Emmah Williams, Callie and Olivia Pry and Clark and Claire McNeish; two great-grandchildren, Aiden Leech and Nilah Anderson; one sister, Diane (Larry) Artman; three brothers, Jim (Sally) Davis, Kurt (Karen) Davis and Keith (Robin) Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death and waiting for him at Heaven's gate were his parents; five infant children, Catherine, Lonnie, Rebecca, Justin and Jenna; and his grandson, Tyler.

DAVIS — Friends of Glenn S. Davis Jr., who died Tuesday, June 19, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Harmony Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 234 N. Main St., Harrisville, with the Rev.
