Julia “Judy” Elizabeth Potochny
Julia “Judy” Elizabeth Potochny, 75, of Greenock, died Friday.
She was born Oct. 12, 1942, in Nashville, Tenn., and was the daughter of the late Herman and Betty (Cole) Bryant. She was the wife of the late Richard Potochny, who died Sept. 3, 2017.
Judy sold Mary Kay Cosmetics and was past president of Tops in Butler.
She is survived by her sons, Mark (Dena) Potochny and John H. Potochny of Madison, Ind., Jim (Christine) Potochny of Alexandria, Va., and Michael (Mary Kay) Potochny of Greenock, Pa.; her daughter, Esther Michelle (Robert) Marasco of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; her sisters, Nancy Hopkins of Tennessee and Patsy (Gary) Tobey and Kathe (Carl) Bryant of Arkansas; her grandchildren, Heather, Michael (Alyssa), Julia, Charlotte, Lissy, Joseph, Emma, Samantha, Alex, PK, Tyler, Savannah, Tyler and Krystina; her great-granddaughter, Elle; her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Denise Osche, who died Oct. 23, 2017; her brother, Herman “Buddy” Bryant, and sisters, Dora Sullins, Mary (Henry) Morsette and Carolyn Amos.
POTOCHNY — Friends of Julia “Judy” Elizabeth Potochny, who died Friday, June 15, 2018, are welcome from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township.A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Erin Evans officiating.
