William J. Hufnagel Jr.

William J. Hufnagel Jr., 41, of Franklin Township passed away peacefully on Tuesday with his loving wife by his side at Ellwood City Medical Center.

Bill was born on Dec. 29, 1976, in Pittsburgh, to William J. and Rose Jones Hufnagel Sr.

He was a member of the Riverside High School Class of 1995 and was an active member of the high school's DECA program. He later graduated from ITT Technical Institute in Pittsburgh.

Bill worked for Armstrong Cable at both the Zelienople and Butler offices as a network engineer-technology and innovation specialist. He took great pride in his work and company.

He was a member of the First Church of God in Franklin Township.

Bill enjoyed riding quads, four-wheeling and most of all, being with his family.

Bill is survived by his wife, Christina (Taylor) Hufnagel, whom he married on Sept. 22, 2001; his daughter, Lexi Hufnagel; his son, Benjamin Hufnagel; his parents, William and Rose Hufnagel Sr. of Ellwood City; his brothers, Richard Hufnagel of Evans City, and Patrick McQuaide of Ellwood City; his maternal grandmother, Theresa Jones of Brookville; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anthony and Linda Taylor of Wampum. He also leaves behind his dog, Maisey; and his cat, Jingles.

HUFNAGEL — Visitation for William J. Hufnagel Jr., who died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 309 Spring Ave., Ellwood City.Services for Bill will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Phil Conklin and the Rev. Todd Davis officiating.Interment will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill's name may be made to his children.Please visit www.teolisfuneralhome.com.
