Donald Grant Winters
Donald Grant Winters, 85, of Butler passed away on Monday at the VA Butler Healthcare.
He was born Feb. 17, 1933, in Butler and was the son of the late William A. Winters and the late Gladys McGrody Winters.
Donald worked as a civil engineer technician, inspector and draftsman for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He retired in 1988 after 34 years of service.
Donald was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War.
He was a member of North Street Christian Church, where he also served as a deacon and trustee.
Donald is survived by his wife, Marlene J. Winters, whom he married on Dec. 20, 1958; one son, Grant (Cyndee) Winters of Mars; one daughter, Tracy (Dave) Collins of Butler; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

North St., Butler, with Pastor Robert C.
