In memory of Nancy Preston, who passed away 18 years ago today – July 10th.

Somewhere in my heart

Beneath all the grief and pain

Is a smile I still wear

At the sound of your name.

When I think of your kind heart

My memories surround me

And I can’t hold back the tears.

You were my best friend,

The one I talked to every day.

I still talk to you quite often

And I know you hear me

Because I feel your touch

On my shoulder telling me

That everything will work out.

You are sadly missed Mom.
