Dolores A. Renfrew
Dolores A. Renfrew, 86, of Saxonburg passed away on Sunday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born Feb. 20, 1932, in Saxonburg, she was the daughter of Michael and Eva Schlahta Showak.
Dolores was a 1950 graduate of Butler High School.
She worked as a secretary for South Butler School District for 30 years, retiring in 1993.
She was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saxonburg and was a charter member of the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Roy Renfrew, whom she married Feb. 19, 1956; her daughter, Linda and her husband and son; one son, Roger (Cathy) Renfrew of Fryburg, Pa.; two sisters, Jean Slencak of Grove City, and Irene (David) Orwig of Killeen, Texas; and several nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters.
RENFREW — Friends of Dolores A. Renfrew, who died Sunday, June 3, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg with the Rev. Roger G.
