Blain Douglas Allison
Blain Douglas Allison, 19, of Volant passed away at 9 p.m. Sunday.
He was born March 31, 1999, in Ellwood City.
He did farm work locally and was completing his studies to enlist in the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and forging.
Survivors include his father, Douglas D. (Linda McCue) Allison of Volant; his mother, Tina (Rich) Miller of New Castle; his sister, Jessica L. Allison of New Castle; his paternal grandmother, Jane E. Allison of Slippery Rock; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Hovis of Portersville; and his maternal grandfather, Daniel (Patricia) Windhorst of Portersville. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, F. Dale Allison.
ALLISON — The family of Blain Douglas Allison, who died Sunday, May 27, 2018, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Dave West of Graceway Community Church in Butler presiding.Interment will be in Slippery Rock Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be given to Grove City Education Center for Adults, 118 S. Center St., Grove City, PA 16127.
