A driver escaped unharmed after his truck overturned around 10 p.m. Wednesday along Route 422, just east of Eagle Mill Road. The man said he was driving west when he swerved to avoid a vehicle that had pulled out in front of him, according to Butler Township police. The maneuver sent the truck crashing onto its side into the front yard of a home. The crash damaged a natural gas line, police said. The line was shut off and did not pose a threat. The accident slowed traffic about an hour. Prospect Volunteer Fire Department and Butler Ambulance Service responded.
