The Butler County Republican Committee on Monday elected new leadership for the next two-year legislative cycle, installing a Buffalo Township committeeman as chairman.

Al Lindsay was elected chairman and Pat Stirling of Lancaster Township will serve as external vice chair of the committee. Eric Gordon of Cranberry Township was elected internal vice chair.

Also voted into office were secretary June Crawford of Saxonburg, secretary, and Tom Davidson of Center Township, treasurer.

The remaining seats on the group’s executive committee will be held by: Eric Pint of Bruin, Bob Craig of Butler Township, Jack McMillin of Zelienople, Paul Adametz of Seven Fields, Mike Brace of Cherry Township and Joe Kubit of Jefferson Township.

During Monday’s meeting, Lindsay outlined efforts to increase voter registration by making Butler County “a hundred times better” for Republicans.
