Person detained in rollover crash

OAKLAND TWP. — One person was detained for unknown reasons after a rollover crash on Oneida Valley Road Saturday.

The incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m., and no one was injured according to emergency responders.

“The vehicle hit the bank and rolled over. No injuries,” said Jeff Stoner, chief of the Oneida Valley Fire Department.

The vehicle rolled onto its roof, he said.

At the scene, one person — a man — was handcuffed and detained by Pennsylvania State Police and was taken from the scene in a trooper's vehicle.

A tow truck rolled the vehicle onto its wheels and towed it away, Stoner said.

State police did not return a message Sunday seeking information on the incident.
