Janice Ann Cancilla

Janice Ann Cancilla, 71, of Center Township passed away Wednesday at VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born Feb. 1, 1947, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late James McQuillan and Elizabeth Krepp Lombardi.

Jan was a graduate of Allegheny High School in Pittsburgh. She held many part-time positions over the years, but most recently worked as a secretary for Lennon's Auto Body in Valencia. Jan was an avid shopper and loved spending time with her friends and their families. Above all, she took pride in taking care of her own home and family. She will be dearly missed.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Thomas Cancilla; her son, Jeffrey Cancilla and his girlfriend, Jennifer Burgess; her brothers, Mark McQuillan and his wife, Penny, and Bernard “Bernie” McQuillan; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Jan was preceded in death by her stepfather, Andrew Lombardi; her daughter, Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Cancilla; and her sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Fred Bevington.

CANCILLA — As per the wishes of Janice Ann Cancilla, who died Wednesday, May 23, 2018, there will be no public visitation or services for Jan.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing TOWNSHIP, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.Memorial donations may be made in her honor to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, checks payable to “Friends of Hospice,” 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
