Nicholas William Schwenke

Nicholas William Schwenke, 32, of Forward Township passed away at his home on Monday.

Born Dec. 5, 1985, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Keith W. Schwenke and Laurita DeHart Schwenke of Evans City.

Nicholas was a 2004 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.

He was employed by American Industrial Contracting Inc. in Glenfield.

Nicholas loved sports of all kinds. He especially enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the First Hollow Hunt Club.

In addition to his parents, Nicholas leaves behind to cherish his memory his brother, Andrew Schwenke and his companion, Danyelle Edenhart, of Evans City; his maternal grandmother, Amy DeHart McKinley of Valencia Woods; his paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Schwenke of Mars; his numerous aunts and uncles, Linda Hussar, William DeHart, Thomas (Lisa) DeHart, Paul (Christine) DeHart, Rhonda (Sam) Catalfamo, Lou Ann Sunday Rogers, Ronald (Deb) Schwenke Jr., Beverly (Rick) Leasher, Kathy (Jeff) Walker, Richard (Peggy) Schwenke and Judy (Michael) Maraz; and his many loving cousins.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William DeHart; his paternal grandfather, Ronald Schwenke Sr.; and two cousins, Jason Stephenson and Clinton Donaldson.

SCHWENKE — Friends of Nicholas William Schwenke, who died Monday, May 21, 2018, will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of his memorial service at 5 p.m. Saturday at Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew, with Pastor Bob Goossen of Crestview Community Church officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Nicholas' second cousin, Jason Brabant, to the Children's Tumor Foundation, 120 Wall St., New York, NY 10005.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
