Ellen A. Revelli

Ellen A. Revelli, 91, of Butler passed away at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 28, 1926, in Argentine, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Elmer Peter Gladd and Emma Jane (Houston) Gladd.

Ellen was a member of the former Oneida Valley Free Methodist Church, where she was very active, but later attended Faith United Presbyterian Church.

She was a life member of the Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

In her earlier years, she had worked at Willard Hotel and Shell Diner.

Ellen enjoyed country music.

Surviving are her daughter, Jacquelyn (Thomas) Shields of Butler; her son, John Revelli Jr. of Butler; a grandson, Uriah Revelli Shields; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Revelli Sr., who died Nov. 15, 1982; five sisters; and three brothers.

REVELLI — Friends of Ellen A. Revelli, who died Sunday, May 20, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Clyde of Faith United Presbyterian Church officiating.Entombment will follow in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Penn Christian Academy, 199 W.
