Susannah “Su” M. Rehm

Susannah “Su” M. Rehm, 66, died Wednesday at the VNA Hospice in Butler after a brief struggle with cancer.

In a career that spanned executive positions in corporate, private and government areas, Su worked for the Family Division of the Allegheny County Courts in Pittsburgh, Lockheed Martin in Harrisburg, and for the last decade, as company manager for Foothills Property Management in Sedona, Ariz.

Susannah and her husband of 30 years, Andrew Gress, returned to Pittsburgh a year ago to be near her family.

Susannah was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy, with a minor in psychology, from Duquesne University in 1993, and did graduate work in philosophy at Villanova University.

She was the daughter of Robert C. Rehm Sr. and Mary S. (Czyzyk) Rehm of Butler.

Susannah is survived by her husband, Andrew Gress. She is also survived by four sisters and six brothers, Mary Ann Rehm of Pittsburgh, Barbara (the late Agustin) della Porta of Washington, D.C., Dr. Theresa (Tom) Thewes of Edinboro, Joan (Roy) Schnur of Camp Hill, Pa., Thomas (Ann Weise) Rehm, James (Rita Pennington) Rehm, John Rehm, Michael Rehm and David Rehm, all of Butler; and William (Karen Rossie) Rehm of Carboro, N.C. Susannah also leaves behind 12 nieces and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; her brother, Robert C. Rehm Jr. of Stockton, Calif.; and her brother-in-law, Agustin della Porta.
