Patricia Maureen “Trish” Maizland
Patricia Maureen “Trish” Maizland, 64, of Zelienople passed away Tuesday while under the care of St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born Dec. 3, 1953, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. Morgan and Helen A. Racz Morgan.
Trish was a lifelong, active member of St. Gregory Catholic Church, where she was involved with the St. Gregory youth group summer project that traveled to Kingwood, W.Va., every summer. She devoted more than 20 years to the Appalachian mission trip. As a further way to express her unwavering faith, she was a member and a regional counselor for the St. Augustine Secular Franciscan Order.
The job that she considered most rewarding was for Connectel on the North Shore. Her most recent employment was with Accredo in Warrendale.
Above all, Trish always put others before herself and was devoted to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Valerie M. (Jamall) Maizland-Penn of Carnegie; her grandson, Matao Penn; and one on the way, Xavier; her companion, Joseph E. Terlesky; her brother, Joseph F. (Carol) Morgan of Colorado; her sister, Karen (David) Skurcenski of Pittsburgh; her nephews, Joseph F. (Heather) Morgan Jr. of Wisconsin, Gregory (Amie) Morgan of Colorado and Darren Skurcenski of Pittsburgh; her nieces, Cynthia (Andy) Vetter of Nebraska and Lauren (Chris) Sullivan of Pittsburgh; her great-nieces, Jessalyn, Elizabeth, Arianna and Megan; and her great-nephews, Gregory and Jacob.
MAIZLAND — A Mass of Christian burial for Patricia Maureen “Trish” Maizland, who died Tuesday, May 8, 2018, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with the Rev. James G. Young officiating.Trish will be laid to rest at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery.Arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
