Paul Andres
Paul Andres, 98, of Butler passed away on Friday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born Feb. 27, 1920, in Butler, and was the son of the late John Andras and the late Mary Bobak Andras.
Paul worked in the installation and repair departments for Culligan Water Conditioning of Pennsylvania, Inc., for over 30 years before retiring.
He was a member of the NRA and the Butler Hunting and Fishing Club.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, camping and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by one son, Dean (Mona) Andres of Butler; one daughter, Lynda Andres of Butler; two grandchildren, Tamara (Aaron) Elliott and Terry Andres; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Edward Andres of Detroit, Mich.; one sister, Martha Heichel of Elyria, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Andres, whom he married on April 15, 1943, and who passed away on Sept. 20, 2010; four brothers, Mike Andras, John Andres, Joseph Andres and Benjamin Andras; four sisters, Mary Becher, Ann Bechek, Sue Martenson and Bessie Fair.
ANDRES — There will be no public visitation for Paul Andres, who died Friday, May 4, 2018.Funeral services were held on Wednesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home with the Rev.
