Dollie J. Krick

Dollie J. Krick, 86, of Butler died Sunday morning at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

Born Sept. 29, 1931, in Millvale she was a daughter of the late George Soose and Olive (Wise) Soose.

Dollie was a homemaker and was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church.

She enjoyed bowling at Meridian Lanes, word puzzles, reading Reader's Digest, playing cards and she loved to cook and was famous for her chocolate cake.

Surviving are her children, Albert C. Krick of Worthington, Constance J. (James) Goff of Scottsboro, Ala., Larry M. Krick of West Sunbury, Lynn Marie Cline of New Port Richey, Fla., Wade P. (Patricia) Krick of Gibsonia, Daniel M. (Patricia) Krick of Greenville, S.C., Timothy J. Krick of Butler, and Mark A. Krick of Apopka, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four siblings, Patricia McDougal of Barkeyville, Larry Soose of Unionville, Francis Soose of Butler, and Joe Soose of Unionville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence A. “Sonny” Krick, whom she married on June 10, 1950, and who died Nov. 1, 2011; two brothers, Sherwood and Donald Soose; and one sister, Virginia Thompson.

KRICK — Friends of Dollie J. Krick, who died Sunday, May 6, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.The bereavement committee of St. Fidelis Parish will conduct a prayer service at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Butler. The Rev. William Wuenschel will officiate with the Rev.
