Chicora fire closes Main Street in the borough
North Main Street in Chicora was shut down Monday night as volunteer firefighters battled a blaze that charred the exterior of a home in the borough.
Firefighters were called to 404 N. Main St. just after 9:30 p.m. Monday. The fire was extinguished and crews spent most of their time on the scene checking the structure for hot spots. There were no reported injuries at the scene.
