Victor G. Sinz
Victor G. Sinz, 80, of Butler passed away on Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 2, 1937, in Herman, and was the son of the late John Sinz and the late Magdeline Kohnen Sinz. He was born again on Dec. 9, 1976; John 3:7 “Ye must be born again.”
Victor worked as a laborer for Armco, retiring after 36 years.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during peace time.
Victor was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and of the Butler County Hunting and Fishing Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trap shooting.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara DeMask Sinz, whom he married on Sept. 2, 1961; one son, Pastor Scott (Tammy) Sinz of Challis, Idaho; two daughters, Lisa (Tom) Henricks of Slippery Rock, and Cindy (David) Henry of Butler; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Sinz of Renfrew; one sister, Mag Giallombardo of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his six siblings.

Sinz, who died Wednesday, April 25, 2018.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church, 199 Great Belt Road, Butler, with the Rev.
