Wilma Ann May Mullen
Wilma Ann May Mullen, 75, of Chicora died Monday in Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 20, 1942, in Homestead, Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of David L. and Wilma A.M. Vogt George.
Wilma was a graduate of Munhall High School.
She was a member of St. John's Reformed Church in Chicora, where she was the church florist.
She enjoyed volunteering at the Chicora Senior Center, where she arranged flowers, decorated and displayed the monthly calendars, and made it a pleasing and fun environment.
She owned and operated the Craft Window Shop from her home in Chicora.
She was an avid video game player and enjoyed dominoes, playing cards and watching movies. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She even home-taught several of her grandchildren for the first few years of school.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Mullen, whom she married May 29, 1965; a son, Ronald J. (Julie) Mullen of Winter Park, Fla.; two daughters, Jennifer (Glenn) Telford of Warrenton, Va., and Jacqueline (William) Kyle of Darlington, Pa.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond (Deann) George of Baldwin.
She was preceded in death by a brother, David George Jr.
MULLEN — Friends of Wilma Ann May Mullen, who died Monday, April 23, 2018, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora.Additional visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday with funeral services held at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Reformed Church, 334 W. Slippery Rock St., Chicora, with the Rev.
