OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF BASEBALL — Suspended Los Angeles Angels minor league RHP Nathan Bates (Mobile-SL) 50 games following a second positive test for a drug of abuse in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. Extended the administrative leave of Toronto RHP Roberto Osuna through June 4.

BOSTON RED SOX — Activated 2B Dustin Pedroia from the 10-day DL. Designated 1B-DH Hanley Ramirez for assignment.
