Patricia M. Karenbauer

Patricia M. Karenbauer, 76, of Butler passed away quietly at her home on April 16.

She was born April 29, 1941, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Regis and Marie Sedlack Gschwind.

She enjoyed gardening, visiting the sick and visiting the patients at Sunnyview Home in Butler.

She liked cats, wildlife and feeding the birds.

Pat graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing in Pittsburgh.

She married Donald Karenbauer. He died on Jan. 20, 2010.

She is survived by one sister, Celine Kohler of Pittsburgh; a stepdaughter, Connie and Mark Vicario of Airville, Pa.; her stepgrandsons, Ryan Schramm of Toledo, Ohio, and Shane Reed of Butler; and a stepgranddaughter, Brittney Karenbauer of Butler. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

In addition to her husband, mother and father, she was preceded in death by a stepson, Kenneth Karenbauer; a step-grandson, Jason Schramm; and a brother, Regis Gschwind.
