Summer Music

[naviga:h3]Butler County Symphony[/naviga:h3]

The Butler County Symphony Association will host a summer lunchtime concert series on Fridays from June 1 through Sept. 28 in the symphony office, 259 S. Main St. Admission is free.

The concerts will begin at noon and feature local artists along with some BCSO musicians. The concerts also will be broadcast in Diamond Park.

The schedule includes:

Four Principals String Quartet (featuring the principals of the BCSO string section), June 15

The free Family Concert Series, sponsored by the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department, begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Odd Fellow Gazebo at Alameda Park in Butler Township.

Free summer concerts in Cranberry Township are featured in three series:

- Community Days Concerts will be in the Rotary Amphitheater in Community Park:

Harmony Hot Haus, 7:30 p.m. July 13

Uptown Rhythm and Brass, 8 p.m. July 14.

- Park concerts in the Rotary Amphitheater throughout the summer begin at 7 p.m.:

The free Summer Concert Series in Harmony takes place on the square and feature:

Fantastix Dancers, 7 to 8 p.m., followed by the Allegheny Brass Band at 8 p.m., June 28. Fireworks will conclude the evening.

Eugene and the Night Crawlers, 7 p.m. July 12

KardaZ, 7 p.m. July 26

John Burgh Band, 7 p.m. Aug. 9.

Audience members should take their own seating.
