Chester W. “Skip” Brown
Chester W. “Skip” Brown, 70, of Zelienople passed away April 15 while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born Nov. 28, 1947, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Chester Leroy Brown and Dorothy McConnell Brown.
Chester was a member of Evans City VFW and Zelienople Hungarian Club.
He enjoyed NASCAR, crossword puzzles and Pittsburgh sports teams.
He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Sandie Smith Brown, whom he married April 21, 1978; his children, Lisa A. Lohr of Evans City, Scott (Tracy) Steigerwald of Tionesta, Heather (Jeff) Nemcek of Cranberry Township, and his stepdaughter, Stacie (Scott) Clum of Mount Airy, Md.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jeffrey (Joy) Brown of Florida, Tracy Brown of Fort Myers, Fla., and Tod (Rayann) Brown of Reno, Nev.; and two sisters, Diana Zoelle of Shadyside and Barbara (Roy) Long of Renfrew.
BROWN — A memorial service to celebrate the life of Chester W. “Skip” Brown, who died Sunday, April 15, 2018, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with Pastor Gail R.
