Gladys Mae Dambaugh Riddle, 95, of Harmony passed away peacefully at 3 p.m. on Sunday at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

She was born June 7, 1922, in Connoquenessing Township, and was the daughter of the late Harry and Sarah Frazier Dambaugh.

She was a graduate of Rochester High School.

Gladys was a former member of the White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church and the Calvin Presbyterian Church.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed camping with her family, traveling, sewing, quilting, gardening, latch hook, embroidering, cooking, baking, reading and most of all, being with her family.

She will be greatly missed by her family.

Surviving are her daughter, Shirley (Barkley Cousins) Riddle of Butler; her sons, Carl Riddle and his wife, Vicki, and Rick Riddle and his wife, Becky, all of Harmony; seven grandchildren, Richard (Lori) Barkley, John (Ruth Ann) Barkley, Shelley (Duane) Oesterling, Anesa (Eric) Richard, Carla (Eric) Krosel, Steven (Jessica Marx) Riddle and Jennifer (Ron) Coulter; nine great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; five nephews; and three nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Riddle, whom she married on Oct. 25, 1941, and who passed away on March 22, 1999; four brothers, Robert, Edward, Ernest and Richard Dambaugh; a sister, Hazel Ramsey; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and three nephews.

RIDDLE — Family and friends of Gladys Mae Dambaugh Riddle, who died Sunday, April 15, 2018, will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of a funeral ceremony at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.She will be laid to rest at Grace Church Cemetery in Harmony.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
