Sara Jo Hilgar Mentzer
Sara Jo Hilgar Mentzer, 31, of Butler passed away Saturday.
She was born April 17, 1986, in Kittanning to Mark P. Hilgar and Kathy Long.
Sara worked as a waitress for many years. She loved to draw. Sara graduated from Butler High School in 2004.
“Our precious girl who was led by the hand of God to the gates of Heaven to meet our Lord and wait for the past and present family on that joyful day.”
She will be missed by family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother, Dustin (Tiffany) Hilgar of Pittsburgh; one nephew, Jordan Hilgar; and one paternal grandmother, Delores Hilgar of Butler.
MENTZER — Friends of Sara Jo Hilgar Mentzer, who died Saturday, April 14, 2018, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Following the visitation, a memorial service will be at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dave Maitland of First Baptist Church officiating.
