Patrick E. Campbell

Patrick E. Campbell, 70, of Sarver, Winfield Township, died Friday at UPMC Presbyterian with his family by his side.

He was born Jan. 12, 1948, in West Deer Township to the late John P. and Grace M. Stratton Campbell.

John grew up in West Deer, graduating from West Deer High School in 1966.

He served his country during the Vietnam War, achieving a rank of SP5 and spending almost two and a half years in Germany.

Pat was employed at the U.S. Postal Service Bulk Mail Center in Warrendale as a forklift driver for over 32 years.

He loved riding his Harley and caring for his truck, though he especially enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Carol J. Steighner Smith Campbell; his children, Dawn (Ronald) Cimbala of Virginia Beach, Va., Lora (Shawn) Covey, John (Debbie) Smith and Shane (Deserea) Smith, all of Butler, and Kandi Smith of Winfield Township; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his brothers, John (Pearl) Campbell of West Deer and Tim (Deb) Campbell of Waterford, Mich.; his sisters, Penny (Scott) Greig of Beaver and Terry (Francis) Morgan of Louisa, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

CAMPBELL — Friends of Patrick E. Campbell, who died Friday, April 13, 2018, will be received from 1 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the funeral service at 5 p.m. at the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, Pa., with the Rev.
