Paul Vernon Locke
Paul Vernon Locke, 90, of Grove City passed away peacefully Tuesday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born March 15, 1928, in Slippery Rock, he was the son of the late Lewis and Mary Bell Locke.
Paul served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force from 1946 until 1951.
He was employed by Cooper-Bessemer for more than 38 years and retired in 1991.
Paul loved outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and camping and was an accomplished jack of all trades.
He attended Grace United Methodist Church in Grove City.
Paul was the beloved husband of Lucetta Marie Locke and the late Betty McKee Locke; loving father of Pauletta (James) Fallabel of Winchester, Va., Jack Locke of Butler, David (Catherine) Locke of Fairfax, Va., and Kevin Locke of Grove City; grandfather of Erin (Michael) Jackman of Cross Junction, Va., Jason (Jamie) Locke of Stanton, Ky., and Lauren (Benjamin) Dillard of Stephenson, Va., and great-grandfather of Joshua, Ethan, Caleb, Abigail and Hannah Jackman, Dakota and Cole Dunn, and Emily, Allison and Olivia Dillard.
LOCKE — Family and friends of Paul Vernon Locke, who died Tuesday, April 10, 2018, are welcome from 12:30 p.m. until time of funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home, 1778 Perry Hwy., Volant, with the Rev. Willard Morse, retired pastor presiding.Interment will follow in Rosewood Cemetery, Washington Township, Butler County.Memorial contributions may be given to Grace United Methodist Church, 210 S.
