Codispot retires after 31 years
Retired City of Butler fire Capt. Ted Codispot at the fire station in Butler on Friday May 11, 2018.
Sunny days are ahead for recently retired Butler Fire Department Capt. Ted Codispot.
Shortly after his last day on the job on April 15, he and his wife Tammy flew to Sebastian, Fla. and purchased their future home.
Codispot was born and raised in Butler and has lived in the city his entire life. He and Tammy got married two weeks after he was hired as a firefighter nearly 31 years ago. They have lived in the same home since then and raised four children there.
They are adults now and one will be moving in after he and their mother relocate to their home in the sun.
A full story will appear in the Butler Eagle.
