Mary K. (O'Donnell) Joyce
Mary K. (O'Donnell) Joyce, 86, of Valencia, formerly of the Garfield neighborhood in Pittsburgh, passed away on Sunday.
Mary was the beloved wife for 63 years to the late James “Jim” Joyce; loving mother of James (the late Wyline) Joyce and the Rev. Michael Joyce, OFM Cap.; sister of John P. O'Donnell, the Rev. Thomas O'Donnell, Peggy O'Donnell and the late Helen Gray and Bartley “Jay” O'Donnell; grandmother of Sherrianne (Jay) Haulbold and Colleen (Jerry) Moore; great-grandmother of Crystle and Caitlin Lavin, Erin Haulbold and William, Patrick and Michael Moore.
She was a graduate of St. Lawrence O'Toole High School in 1949.
Mary was a longtime secretary with Allied Uniform Towel & Supply Co. in Garfield, and was a 50+ year member of the Ladies Auxiliary 1 of Pittsburgh Fraternal Order of Police.
She was a devoted member of Holy Sepulcher Church for many years, active with Smiling Seniors, served on the liturgy committee, worked in the DRE office and was a cantor and choir member.
JOYCE — Friends of Mary K.
