Dennis “Crum” Crummy, 65, of Mesa, Ariz., passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018, at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz., from an extended illness.

Dennis was born Sept. 20, 1952, in Natrona Heights. He was the son of Paul Ekas Crummy and Mildred Celia (Shick) Crummy.

Surviving are his daughter, Jennifer (Hassan) Alkaabi; his granddaughters, Lexi Crummy, Lilly and Bella; his grandson, Jaxon; four sisters, Betty Graham of Renfrew, Donna Atwell of Saxonburg, Nancy (Ron) Legere of Scottsdale Ariz., and Sarah (Mike) Duffey of Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mildred Crummy; and a brother, Glenn (Marty) Crummy.

He enjoyed going for long rides on his Harley-Davidson, sometimes ending up in San Diego for a fun day of fishing.

His wish was to be cremated and have no service.

In light of this, the family will have a celebration of life on Sunday at his favorite place, the Woodshed, with his many friends that he hung out with and cheered on his Steelers with.
