Marylou Kline Lowry, 91, of Ellwood City passed away peacefully Monday evening at Cranberry Place.

Marylou was born March 7, 1927, in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of William F. Kline and Marie L. (Glaneman) Kline. She married Jack Harris Lowry on Aug. 31, 1946.

Marylou loved sewing and had a seamstress business for many years, both in Ellwood City and Lake Milton, Ohio. She also worked for many years at Zelie Office Equipment. She also loved flower gardening.

She is survived by four children, Susan and Paul Ingold of Bethel Park, John and Kathy Lowry of North Sewickley, Jan and Steve Thorn of Mogadore, Ohio, and Daniel and Linda Lowry of Ellwood City; her seven grandchildren, Paul-Michael “P.M.” (Laura) Ingold, Andrew Mark “A.M.” (Kirbi) Ingold, J.D. (Susan) Lowry, Steven (Jessica) Lowry, Michael (Suzanne) Thorn, Nancy Thorn and Jennifer (Brian) Bobeck; and her eight great-grandchildren, Shannon Ingold, Alexia Ingold, Mecca Ingold, Beckett Lowry, London Lowry, Emerson Lowry, Morgan Thorn and Jackson Daniel Bobeck.

In addition to her parents, Marylou was preceded in death by her husband, Jack H. Lowry; her sister, Ida Mae (Kline) Dugan; and an infant son, Kenneth Lowry.

LOWRY — Friends of Marylou Kline Lowry, who died Monday, March 26, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.She will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Gardens.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
