William H. Casteel
William H. Casteel, 61, of Mars passed away Thursday evening in the comfort of his home.
Born in Pittsburgh, Aug. 26, 1956, he was the son of the late William S. and Margaret Ellen Hill Casteel.
Bill was the president and CEO of “The Flying Pig” in Mars.
Surviving are a son, David Casteel; a daughter, Angela Kachonic; his mother-in-law, Audrey Carnahan; and many great friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Denise “Dee” Casteel, whom he married Aug. 11, 2008, and who died March 5, 2013.
CASTEEL — Friends of William H. Casteel, who died Thursday, March 15, 2018, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Closing prayers will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the New Community Church, 3100 Wexford Road, Wexford, with the Rev. Hollis Haff officiating. A reception will follow at the Treesdale Country Club. All are invited.
