Catherine A. Borgese

Catherine A. Borgese, 81, formerly of Brighton Heights, Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully Friday morning. Catherine was at her home in Adams Township, where she resided with her daughter, Catherine A. Roach, and family.

She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth A. Bennett Hunter and Joseph F. Hunter.

Catherine Ann was a 20 year breast cancer survivor. She battled with Alzheimer's disease for the final 13 years of her life with the love, support and care of her family.

She was a member of St. Kilian Church.

Catherine was the mother of Catherine (James) Roach and Virginia (Anthony) Sulkowski; and grandmother of Anthony Sulkowski, Katie Sulkowski, James (Cassie) Roach, Sean Roach, Domenique Roach and Patrick Roach.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Domenic J. Borgese; and a daughter, Elizabeth “Betsy” Borgese.

BORGESE — Family and friends of Catherine A. Borgese, who died Friday, March 16, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Township with the Rev.
