Margaret E. Shaw, 78, of Butler passed away Monday at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born June 25, 1939, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Sub) Chiappini.

Margie enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She had worked in housekeeping at St. Francis Hospital in Cranberry Township and retired from Alameda Products.

Surviving are two sons, Jeffrey Shaw of Butler, and James R. LaCaze of Boyers; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Lowe of Butler; and a nephew, Charles Lowe of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Tex” Shaw, who died Jan. 2, 1982; and a nephew.
