Watershed Day
MIDDLESEX TWP — The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, Butler Area School District and Connoquenessing Watershed Alliance are partnering with other groups to hold a Watershed Day April 28 at Glade Run Lake.
The Butler Intermediate High School will start the activities at 10 a.m. by releasing catfish raised in the classroom. A fishing fundamentals clinic takes place from 11 a.m. to noon.
Anyone who registers at the PFBC booth may fish free — with no license — from noon to 4 p.m.
A bird ID walk will begin at 12:30 p.m. The Glade Run Lake Conservancy will be on hand all day to discuss the history of the lake.
