Nora Elizabeth Hollier

Nora Elizabeth Hollier, 93, formerly of Sarver, died peacefully Thursday at Fair Winds Manor.

She was born March 24, 1924, in New Kensington.

Nora taught dancing and continued to dance her entire life. She worked with her husband in several businesses. They ran a record shop, a taxi business and several service stations. After her husband passed, she worked for the Sarver post office.

She is survived by her sister, Rosemarie Smith of Cabot; her children, Andrea (Marlin) McGregor of Brooksville, Fla., Pamela (Robert) Hager of Acme, Cynthia (Robert) Cottone of Columbus, Ohio, and Kirk Hollier of Cheswick; her daughter-in-law, Linda Hollier; her friend and dancing partner, Max Pokorski; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Maynard Hollier Sr.; her son, Lawrence Maynard Hollier Jr.; her parents, Joseph and Mae Lamont Schall; and her brother, Joseph Lamont Schall.

HOLLIER — Friends of Nora Elizabeth Hollier, who died Thursday, March 8, 2018, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Wilson officiating.Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.Please visit www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
