A Butler man already behind bars in two felony cases is now facing two more.

Bryan A. Perri, 29, in the cases filed Wednesday, is charged in connection with two separate alleged drug deals last year in Butler.

In each transaction, state police vice officers said, a police informant contacted Perri to buy crack cocaine.

On Aug. 8, after communicating by cell phone, they met at the defendant's Mercer Street home. They left and walked around, according to court documents, before exchanging money and drugs on West New Castle Street.

Perri is accused of selling 2.69 grams of crack.

The second alleged deal happened Oct. 4 at Perri's home. Police said they are still awaiting crime lab analysis of evidence.

Perri was arraigned Wednesday on two felony charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony count of criminal use of a communication facility, and two misdemeanor counts each of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

His preliminary hearing in both cases is set for April 16.

Perri has been in Butler County Prison since Oct. 17, authorities said, when he was arrested after a warrant search by vice officers turned up a .22-caliber rifle, brass knuckles and marijuana at his home.

Because he is a felon, Perri is prohibited from possessing firearms.

He is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, a felony, and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and possession of a prohibited offensive weapon, all misdemeanors.

That case is pending in Butler County Court.

He also is awaiting trial in the unrelated Aug. 31 burglary at a home on Wilson Avenue in Butler.

In all, Perri is being held on $152,000 bail.
