Patsy A. Sarvey

Patsy A. Sarvey, 89, died Saturday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Oct. 11, 1928, in Summerville, and was the daughter of the late Edward James Fulton and Sadie V. Gould Fulton. She married Percy S. Sarvey on July 19, 1947, and had three children.

In addition to being a homemaker, Patsy worked at Penn Champ, Bartoli's Dry Cleaners and Grant's Department Store. She was a faithful servant to her neighborhood and community. She held the office of treasurer of the Oakland Township/Oneida Valley VFD for over 40 years and held numerous roles in the Oakland Township/Oneida Valley Ladies Auxiliary for over 50 years. She was a member of the Faith United Presbyterian Church. Patsy loved flowers and nurtured beautiful hanging baskets and colorful flower beds around her home every spring and summer.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, who died March 9, 1994; her mother; her father; two sisters; and three brothers.

She is survived by three children, Linda (Raymond) Sarver, Sally (Walter) McCall and Ronald (Sally) Sarvey, all of Butler; six grandchildren, Michelle (Rodney) Doutt, Bradley (Casey) Sarvey, Kelly (Michael) Savannah, Stacy (Thomas) Panei, Rachel (Matthew) Paroli and Saydi Sarvey; one stepgrandchild, Kevin Schaub; eight great-grandchildren, Riley and Lucy Doutt, Nico and Gianna Savannah, Luca Panei, Owen Paroli, Ronan Sarvey and Liylah Bowser; and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Brayden and Chase Keane.

SARVEY — Visitation for Patsy A. Sarvey, who died Saturday, March 3, 2018, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and the funeral service will immediately follow the visitation Tuesday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. The Rev. Tom Clyde from Faith United Presbyterian Church will be officiating. There will be a private burial Wednesday at Greenlawn Burial Estates.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Oakland Township/Oneida Valley VFD, 301 Oneida Valley Road, Butler, PA, or Faith United Presbyterian Church, 120 Orchard Drive, Butler, PA.For more information, visit www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
