George L. Breitenbach
George L. Breitenbach, 62, of Slippery Rock passed away suddenly Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 18, 1955, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Carl Breitenbach and Dolores Augustine Breitenbach.
George loved being outdoors and enjoying time with his family around bonfires.
He was a 1973 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and then he attended Triangle Tech in Pittsburgh.
George proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1973 until 1976.
He retired in November of 2017 as the service manager for Renick Brothers Mechanical Contracting Services.
He was a huge Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan. He loved his dog, Luke. George was generous and caring and would do anything for anybody. He was all about being an uncle to his beloved nieces and nephews.
George leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Beth A. Fuhr Breitenbach of Slippery Rock, whom he married on Oct. 20, 1979; his brothers, John Blakeley of Callery and Chuck Blakeley and his wife, Linda, of Butler; his sister-in-law, Cheryl Christiana and her husband, Dan, of Slippery Rock; his brother-in-law, RJ Fuhr and his wife, Angie, of Gainesville, Fla.; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gail and Ed Olmeda of Gainesville, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his three brothers, Carl, Walter and Larry; and his sister, Sandy Hall.
