SV students exhibit art at Warhol Museum

Isabella Moosa is one of seven Seneca Valley High School students whose artwork will be on display at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday.

PITTSBURGH — Eighteen art pieces created by seven Seneca Valley High School seniors were recently accepted for exhibition at the Andy Warhol Museum.

The “Stay Woke” exhibit, a one-night event, will be featured from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday at the museum, 117 Sandusky St.

On display will be a painting by Erin Piotrowski; a painting by Mariah Harvin; paintings and mixed media work by Isabella Moosa; a drawing and mixed media work by Mackenzie Neff; a linoleum block print by Gracie Carothers; a drawing by Faith Luce; and photography by Jack Reynolds.

The “Stay Woke” juried exhibition features art, live performances and art making activities.

The show theme is based on activism, social justice and current events.

The Seneca Valley students were advised by Jason Woolslare, senior high school art teacher.

Seneca Valley student Erin Piotrowski will display a painting at the Andy Warhol Museum.
