John J. Frye, 86, formerly of Wexford and Chicora, passed away Sunday.

He was the beloved husband for 62 years of Marion Rudolph Frye; the uncle to many beloved nieces and nephews.

John was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He worked for U.S. Steel as the regional transportation director of the steel division.

FRYE — Family and friends of John J. Frye, who died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, will be received from 3 p.m. until the time of blessing service at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the George A. Thoma Funeral Home, 10418 Perry Highway, Wexford. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Allegheny County Memorial Park.
